Cathy is the driving force behind Lucas Narratives. She uses her passion for powerful communications and brand strategy, thought leader placement and stakeholder engagement to help organizations tell their stories. With achievements such as creating university-wide strategic plans and earning recognition from esteemed organizations like CASE, PRSA, Denver Business Journal and the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Cathy is not only an accomplished professional but also actively engaged in community service.

Nancy Stewart – Operations, Special Events and Grant Writing
Nancy is a critical part of Lucas Narratives, helping with day-to-day operations, steering us to continued success. Nancy has a strong nonprofit consulting background specializing in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, event planning, operations and administration. She was the Executive Director of CASA from 2017 to 2021 and owned a coffee house, Drip Denver, for four years. She now focuses on consulting and splits her time between Colorado and Spain. She earned a degree from Metropolitan State College in Organizational Communications.
Richard Jividen – Visual Design & Brand Strategy
With more than 30 years of experience in creative communication design and marketing, Richard recognizes the importance of building and maintaining a strong brand presence. Richard brings insight and best practices to help organizations achieve their marketing goals.
Amy Hudson – Strategic Communication
Amy Hudson is a PR/Communications strategist and integral member of Lusas Narratives. She helps organizations succeed by bringing their stories to life and strengthening connections with their audiences. She excels at strategy and messaging, as well as execution and content development.
Lynne Valencia – Stakeholder Engagement Strategy
Lynne Valencia is a seasoned executive and expert in stakeholder engagement strategy. A talented strategic communicator who believes in the power of authentic relationships, Lynne has handcrafted multiple collaborations with government, businesses and nonprofit leaders. For more than 25 years, she worked in local media at 9NEWS and KMGH7, deepening their reach and visibility in the Denver community.
Julius Hinton – Podcast Creator and Producer
Julius Hinton is Lucas Narrative’s trusted podcast advisor, nicknamed “Producer Julius.” Julius is the Co-Founder of The Plug Podcast Agency, a full service podcast agency based in Denver, CO. He is an award-winning podcast producer with more than 13 years of experience developing, producing, editing, marketing and monetizing podcasts. Julius has published more than 700 podcast episodes through 25 different series with many celebrities, CEO’s and high profile personalities.
Mai Linh – Creative Design and Brand Strategy
Mai Linh is a creative expert who works with clients on transforming their website and in creating visually compelling promotional materials. With an eye for design, Mai Linh creates a signature design that tells an organization’s brand story in a way that visually and emotionally engages.
Heidi Hemmat – Media Training and Video Storytelling
Heidi Hemmat is a media trainer and video storytelling expert that works with clients to create stories that inspire and influence. An award-winning investigative journalist who spent the first 22 years of her career researching, writing, producing and presenting on-air reports for major television networks including CBCC, NBC, and FOX. During her years as a Denver investigative reporter, Heidi was often on the front lines of the worst tragedies in U.S. history. She covered the Columbine high school shooting, 9-11, the Aurora movie theater massacre, the Utah kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart, the Bailey, Colorado school shooting, and the Oklahoma City bombing trial, just to name a few.
Dafna Michaelson Jenet – Public Speaking and Executive Prescence
Dafna a 14-year TEDx curator, has trained over 400 presenters on the TEDx stage and works to empower speakers with dynamic, authentic talks without the need for memorization. Her coaching methodology and her experience as a public speaking consultant, focuses on building confidence and delivering messages authentically, benefiting clients from diverse backgrounds. She helps individuals transform their fear of public speaking into a powerful tool for influence and success.
